Welcome

Channel Afrique is a network of African professionals and friends dedicated to promoting professional development, educational advancement, advocacy, mentorship, cultural awareness, health and welfare of our global community.

Channel Afrique was founded in September 2002. By establishing relationships with individuals from various professional and cultural backgrounds, we have developed a database/listserv of participants through our monthly networking programs. Consequently, our activities extended towards partnering with other entities and organizations which will enable us support and provide needed services to our community. Our first partnership project, ELOM International Academy, a K-6 charter school starting in 2007 has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Education.
